Welcome!

YES! You are the right page! I just have a new name! :) After realizing that I do more than just scrapbooking, I've decided to change the name and will be changing the look.. I'd do a whole new blog but I'd hate to have to start all over.
Here you will find scrapbooking ideas. There's a ton of older posts that used the Cricut, but lately I haven't been using it much and well, my sewing machine is gaining more miles by the day.

There are no words left to say...

I must say that I am more than glad that I did this recap post, as it brought a surprising and sad email from a friend. I hope that he doesn't mind me sharing this, but I received an email from Ron, from the Ron and Kili recap in the 2008 post. I read it just as I was walking in to work, and by the time I was to my desk, I was in tears.

(last names and locations removed to protect privacy!)

Amanda,
Remember back in 2008 you helped in campaigning for votes for Ron and Kili. Ron and Kili had entered a video contest on YouTube as residents from Bayshore Apartments, You had urged all your contacts to vote for Ron and Kili. Ron and Kili had received over 6,500 votes from YouTube viewers and from 37 countries.
Kili and I thank you for your wonderful support in 2008. January 3, 2011, Kili passed away from a long illness from copper toxicity. Kili had been Ron's faithful Service Assistance canine since July 2002. You remember watching Kili remove clothes from Ron's electric dryer while filming Ron and Kili episode on YouTube.
Thank you and your many friends for supporting Ron and Kili in 2008.
God bless.
Ron and Kili

My deepest sympathy goes out to Ron, as Kili was a great companion. She will be missed, and will live forever in our hearts.

I talked to my friend, Beth, whom I had showed the video to back in 2008 and she remembered how cute it was to see Kili taking the clothes out of the dryer. She told me that she will talk to Mr Willie tonight and tell him to show Kili around the Rainbow Bridge.

I feel like there was a reason that I was to do this recap.. and perhaps this reconnection was the reason... kinda odd how God works things out...

OMG, I'm so sorry to come visit on such a sad note. This is such a sad and heart rendering letter. I hope you feel better soon. I actually was dropping by to say Happy New Year as I hadn't been around for a bit, and trying to play catch up.

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season, and I'll be back soon.

I pray you'll feel much better!

OMG now you've got ME in tears too. We just lost our Wire Fox Terrier in October and just a little over a year before that lost our first dog. It is a very painful loss to lose a pet, but to lose a companion like Kili is like losing a part of your body. I'm sure Ron has been blessed by your friendship!

Tears for Kili and Ron from me as well. It's very hard to lose a pet. Best wishes to your friend.

This is a sad post indeed, but it is great when an animal companion is talked about like that. Ron is forever grateful of having a pet that also helps in Kili.

Awww such a sad message and it is so very hard to loose a pet in the first place but someone like Killi will be even double-ly missed.
God bless Ron and hope he is able to find a new companion who will carry on Killi's legacy.

So very sorry to hear about Kili, I know Ron must be devastated. Hopefully he will have another buddy in the near future to keep him company and to work for him!

Sad to lose a pet so special but happy that such a special pet lived and lives on in many hearts. It sounds like you are preparing yourself for 2011 and that's great!!!

The Rainbow Bridge poem is so comforting. It helped me at one time. I don't make resolutions but I would like to make some, any, time for myself on a somewhat regular basis. :)

My goodness, what a sad story! I agree with you, Amanda, God does work in mysterious ways, and I believe everything that happens in our lives has a purpose - this "recap" event of yours has proven to have a wonderful purpose. I'm glad that you and Ron have reconnected; my heart goes out to him.
