Here are pictures of the box that I decorated for Lilly to take to school and collect her valentines in.
The "My Valentine" was in my swap stash, I actually made it about 3 years ago (had the Xyron PCS then to cut the letters!)
"LILLY" letters are from A Child's Year, along with the side view of the girl on one of the sides.

Altered Tin
Here is a tin that I altered for a prize on my Bingo Group! June was our Winner that month, and the theme was cards, with a bonus of an altered tin. So I decorated the tin, and filled it with the cards that the other members had sent in as their contribution to the prize pot.

PC Saved me $400!
Finally, PC releases something that I DON'T want! LOL
Here is the New Cricut Cake Machine, debuting at CHA
The roller is different than the regular E, there's more "protecting" silicone on the keypad and the cart holder. and it comes in a "kitchen aid" red. MSRP $399.99
Oh, and can't forget about the exclusive "Cake Basics" cartridge - shapes and a font!
PC removed all the images off their site... but these are the ones that I had saved on my computer!

And.. on a Sad Note :(
Tuesday, January 19, 2010
Mr. Willie has passed away. Willie was my friend's best friend. He's part Austrailian Shepard / Border Collie. He was adopted when he was about 2-3 years old, and has spend the last 5 years with his wonderful master. Willie loved taking walks in the park, going for Coffee at the Coffee Cat, and burying his toys in the pillows. He went to many different places including two trips to Colorado, and even stayed at the Hilton in Minneapolis.
On Sunday, January 10, 2010 was Willie's final day on Earth. His spine and stomach had masses of Cancer, and he was unable to move, eat, drink and do what he loved to do. He is awaiting at the Rainbow Bridge where his best friend, Beth, will join him in the future. As for now, he's enjoying his pain free life up in Heaven.
This is the card that I made for my friend.. Doggie was cut out with SCAL, and so were the wings. Wings embossed with D'vine swirl and highlighted with stickles.

Copic Instructor Sally Lynn Joins Us February 6th Do Not Miss This!
Saturday, January 9, 2010
Hi Everyone!! Here is some information on specific info regarding the upcoming day of classes, February 6th. Taking all three Classes (recommended) is $120. Each class individually is $40. You won't want to miss these workshops, especially if you are just learning your Copics, you can't ask for a better opportunity to learn them locally. Cindy will be finalizing which hotel we will be at this weekend but it will be near by (Suffolk County, Long Island). Registrations are very limited as she can only teach so many at one time. Please email Cindy S at Memory Making Crafts to confirm your registration.
Workshop Titles and Descriptions:
1. Copic Markers What How & WOW!
Saturday, February 6th, 2010 10:00am - noon
What is so special about Copic markers? These markers go way beyond coloring stamped images to multi-surface applications on cardstock, transparencies, fabric and more surfaces than you can imagine. Learn about the different styles of markers, and how the markers work, without the revealing brushstrokes so often associated with marker coloring. Unlock the secrets to choosing from the incredible 334 colors for blending and shading. Hands-on practice using four blending techniques that build upon each other and culminate with a three page handout that is yours to keep for reference and practice. An airbrushing demonstration will also be included as time allows. Class taught by Sally Lynn MacDonald, North American Certification Trainer and Design Team member for Copic Marker / Imagination International.
2. Clearly Capable™ Acrylic Album, featuring Copic airbrushing (Spring/Valentine Theme, cause we need a little sunshine! NOT pictured, picture is for illustration purposes only)
Saturday, February 6th, 2010 - 1:00pm – 3:00pmClear Acrylic products are all the rage and this class will show you how to not only cope with the design challenges of a clear surface - but how to make it SHINE. We'll expose the clear surface and show you how to maximize your supplies along with ways to embellish and enhance the surface with epoxies, ink and getting double-duty from your embellishments. Sally Lynn will make it clear and complete in simply no time at all with techniques that you can use on all your clear projects. This technique-packed workshop will focus on Copic Marker ink and airbrushing as well as Glimmer Mist and the many surfaces and techniques used to color with them. From layering colors on transparencies, to airbrushing on acrylic as well as coloring 'bling', epoxy stickers, flowers and chipboard, Sally Lynn will guide you through every surface to go way above and beyond stamped images to altering everything. NOTE: this class was taught at CHA-Summer in Orlando – and now available in a Spring/Valentine theme!
What to bring: Trimmer, scissors, Fabritac adhesive and your favorite dry adhesive. A Cropadile tool or hole punch is helpful.
3. Prima Card Buffet, Glimmer Mist, Copic and Spellbinders, Oh My!
Saturday, February 6th, 2010 – 4:30pm – 6:30pm
