Welcome!

YES! You are the right page! I just have a new name! :) After realizing that I do more than just scrapbooking, I've decided to change the name and will be changing the look.. I'd do a whole new blog but I'd hate to have to start all over.
Here you will find scrapbooking ideas. There's a ton of older posts that used the Cricut, but lately I haven't been using it much and well, my sewing machine is gaining more miles by the day.

2011 : My dreams, Hopes and Wishes for the Future....

There is no where left to look than ahead right now.

I am determined to make my 2011 the best year ever. I have no idea what the future holds right now, but I do know that it will be a busy one. We've got a wedding to plan and figuring to do, who knows where the days will lead me to.

Last year I made resolutions, and well, I wasn't very good at keeping them.. I did for the first month.. *maybe* and well, I'm not quite sure what happened but they did not get done. And I personally didn't think that they were that unreasonable.. read a book, use my page kits etc.. all very with in reach thoughts.

So this year... I'm not quite sure what I want to do. I know that I want to atleast do 2 blog posts a week. I think I'll start with that, and so far.. I'm off to a great start.

We'll end this on a happy note...

Thank you all for following and joining me in the recap of the last 3 years! I love reading all the comments and emails that I have gotten over the last few days!

Now.. for the fun stuff! (wait.. it's all supposed to be fun right?!)
If you have made it this far.. then you surely deserve a chance to win! Blog Candy #5 is..
SENTIMENTALS .. Cricut Cartridge!

All you have to do is leave a comment on THIS POST!

What are some of the things that you hope to do (Crafty or non crafty) in 2011?

**please make sure you leave a way for me to get a hold of you yourname @ yourdomain works well (as long as you put the spaces in there!)**

Winner will be drawn on Sunday January 9th!

**Note.. I have not had a chance to approve comments from yesterday's post, will do that when I get off work, so even tho it does say "0 comments" I have over 100 to approve in my query! I just want to write them down before I approve them so I don't miss anyone **

Well, I have lots of things that I want to do in 2011 with the first being getting back to scrapbooking! I have been slacking so much I don't even want to say. Then there's back to working out, back to getting my family on track with family time, organizing the home, our schedules, setting goals, etc etc. So much to do! Guess I need to start by making a list. Thanks for the reminder ;).

My hopes? Curb my spending, spend a bit of time with the niece and nephew (I'm not that good with kids, so that is tough) and not let all the frustrating things at work get to me. No point in adding exercise more 'cause I know that's not going to happen. Best of luck with your resolutions.

I decided several years ago that I make "GOALS" not resolutions and I like the idea of wishes too!
For me it's a matter of being realistic and do-able with my goals and something I can check off frequently LOL
My crafting/creative goals for the year include quilt goals like finishing up some unfinished projects, keeping up with ongoing projects and using what I have when I can.
Scrapping goals include using my Cricut more often, working on organizing my photos so that I can see where I need to print more and using what I have before buying something new!

Please let Ron know how very sorry I am at the loss of Kili, that is so sad and also had me in tears. I don`t know what I would do if (and when I lose my best friend, my dog JJ)

My goals for this year are also small I didn`t want to make them to big and set myself up for failure so I am trying to post more often on my own blog as well as do at least one cake a month (I also do cake decorating) and try to use my Cricut more. I also want to learn how to use my new Yudu :-)

Thanks for the recap over the past few days, it`s been great!

So sad about the service dog's passing. I hope he will be given another dog to help fill the void.

My first move has to be to make room for the Cricut Expression I got for Christmas as it doesn't fit in the space the but was in. From there I'll set out to reorganize the entire room and make it more user friendly. Hopefully all that effort will make it easier to find time to create.
Best wishes in the New Year.
