Welcome!

YES! You are the right page! I just have a new name! :) After realizing that I do more than just scrapbooking, I've decided to change the name and will be changing the look.. I'd do a whole new blog but I'd hate to have to start all over.
Here you will find scrapbooking ideas. There's a ton of older posts that used the Cricut, but lately I haven't been using it much and well, my sewing machine is gaining more miles by the day.

Menards and the Cricut!

It's been about a month now, but I finally got around to taking pictures of this. My boss asked me to help with the Christmas Village Display, and wanted something that no one would have. I did the Halloween Display (I've got a picture, but it's black and white... will try to post later!) of the Spooky Town Village, so they knew that I could do something cool for Christmas. The Hardware Manager in charge wanted it to read "Happy Holidays from Menards" and then I came up with Christmas Ray at the end.
The letters are cut at 11 inches with asxmasballs font, backed with white paper, and then I used Diamond Dust to fill in the white. The pictures don't show it, but the letters do twinkle :)

Ray was also cut at 11 inches high, and since I have just the baby bug, the base of him is in 2 pieces and seamed together. I think he's about 11x11 give or take a little.

I also used stickles around the edge of the ornaments. The letters are hung with wire ornament hangers.

The store manager along with the General Office love our display! I lost count on how many times the store manager told me that it looked awesome :)

Thanks for looking!

Wow, great job Amanda! I hope you get some kind of company reward for that! Did it take you a long time to do?
