Welcome!

YES! You are the right page! I just have a new name! :) After realizing that I do more than just scrapbooking, I've decided to change the name and will be changing the look.. I'd do a whole new blog but I'd hate to have to start all over.
Here you will find scrapbooking ideas. There's a ton of older posts that used the Cricut, but lately I haven't been using it much and well, my sewing machine is gaining more miles by the day.

And.. on a Sad Note :(

Mr. Willie has passed away. Willie was my friend's best friend. He's part Austrailian Shepard / Border Collie. He was adopted when he was about 2-3 years old, and has spend the last 5 years with his wonderful master. Willie loved taking walks in the park, going for Coffee at the Coffee Cat, and burying his toys in the pillows. He went to many different places including two trips to Colorado, and even stayed at the Hilton in Minneapolis.

On Sunday, January 10, 2010 was Willie's final day on Earth. His spine and stomach had masses of Cancer, and he was unable to move, eat, drink and do what he loved to do. He is awaiting at the Rainbow Bridge where his best friend, Beth, will join him in the future. As for now, he's enjoying his pain free life up in Heaven.

This is the card that I made for my friend.. Doggie was cut out with SCAL, and so were the wings. Wings embossed with D'vine swirl and highlighted with stickles.
Rest in Peace Willie. You are missed very much!!

What a wonderful thing to do for your friend. I am sure there where a few tears when she received the card but she will treasure it forever. Being a dog lover and have 5 Border Collies myself, I know exactly how she is feeling. She is very lucky to have a caring friend like yourself. Please give her a hug from me when you next see her.

Amanda -
The card is beautiful...and I'm so sorry you lost a pet - it's not an easy thing to go thru. I love the angel wings - they have just the right touch of flair to accent the card!

I am so sorry for your loss of Willie. I totally understand. My Chopper, a beautiful and wonderful springer spaniel who adopted me while in England and came to live with me in the States is waiting for me at the bridge. He went to sleep in my arms.

What a sweet card! I can't believe how much Mr. Willie looks like my dog. She is also a Border Collie/Aussie mix. Where did you find the image for SCAL? It is wonderful!

That is such a sweet card. How sad that her friend is gone, but how wonderful to picture him running and chasing butterflies in heaven.

I made a card for someone who lost their pet a while ago; this is the sentiment I included on the inside:

It’s hard to say goodbye
to such a special
companion

My thoughts are
with you.

Hugs,

What a sweet face! I'm sorry you lost your friend. I too lost a friend late last year and I know the sorrow that you are feeling. I am certain they are lying together in a warm sunny spot across the Rainbow Bridge. (((hugs)))

I am so sorry. I have had to have 3 dogs in the past 4 years put to sleep. My other two are a german shepherd name Mace, who is almost 11 yrs old, but starting to show signs of aging in the past 6 months. I am so worried that I will have to go through this again in the next year or two.

My other is a 4 yr old beagle bailey. He is still active and young.

I cried when I read your blog and saw the picture of your sweet best friend. They are our children and it is so hard when we lose one.

I will be sending prayers up to heaven for you. You are in my thoughts. Thank you sharing this beautiful story about your dog with us.

Take care
