i really just need and quick explanation to what 'cuts' & SCAL are... i love the things i see on your blog but just don't know how to use them... if u have a min. please help.

Here's hoping that you see this, since this is the only way I know how to contact you :)
SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot) is a third party program not affiliated with Provo Craft, that allows your cricut to cut out SVG's and any font on your computer. It's very user friendly, and has kinda the same format as Design Studio. SCAL is available for MAC and PC - http://craftedge.com .
.cut files are for Design Studio, they use the Cricut Cartridges
.SCUT are for SCAL
.svg are for SCAL
